This alumni profile is on Kenia Flores ’20. Flores is studying at the Louisiana Center for the Blind, focusing on blindness rehabilitation and training. She also works with the National Federation of the Blind, an organization that advocates for other blind people through legislative and community-building measures. In this interview, Flores discusses her work to improve accessibility for others with visual impairments and blindness, some of the challenges COVID-19 has posed to her daily life, and how Furman prepared her to face these challenges.
