This alumnae profile is on Lena Pringle ‘15. Pringle majored in Communication Studies and Spanish. She currently works as an Anchor / Reporter for Graham Media Group in Jacksonville, FL. Last September, Pringle found herself in the middle of a national movement that challenged traditional “professional” standards for dress and hair. In this interview, she discusses a viral tweet about her natural hair, representation in media, and how uncomfortable situations at Furman improved her self-understanding.
