Following a thrilling season that won the recognition of both major FCS polls, Paladin Football kicks off tonight for the first game of the 2023 season.

Tonight's season opener against Tennessee Tech will be a 7:00 p.m. battle that will highlight “FU After Dark 2.0.”  After two away games, the Paladins will head back home for their Southern Conference opener against Mercer in a 2:00 p.m. contest.

Two weeks later, Furman will face arch-rival The Citadel on Oct. 7 at 2:00 p.m. for Family Weekend at Paladin Stadium. Another celebratory clash will knock on Furman’s door on Homecoming Weekend when the Dins host East Tennessee State on Oct. 28 at 2:00 p.m.

VMI will then become the opposition for Paladin Football’s final home game on Nov. 14 at 1:00 p.m. This matchup will headline Military Appreciation and Senior Day.

The Furman Paladins are coming off a 10-3 campaign last season, reaching the second round of the FCS playoffs. The Dins are expected to return 18 starters and 38 players off their 44-man two-deep roster that concluded the 2022 season with a consensus #10 ranking in both major FCS polls.
